I’m not one to review but this I had to you can adjust the brightness so dim if you want a little dark or bright if you want it for pictures and has like a mode where it flashes different colors ..    I have always loved lights...after becoming disabled and chronically ill for years I realized certain lights really made a difference in my dark world, no pun intended. Seriously though, I think it helps just seeing something you enjoy and the feeling it gives the room. This thing is awesome! You have to plug into usb so I planned on attaching it to the back of my mounted tv. It is hidden from the front this way. There are tons of colors and one fading setting and a blinking (does anyone ever use the blinking? ) . Doesnt seem to get too hot. It has 3 levels of brightness on each color...wish it got a bit dimmer. You can make the halo more round or more elliptical depending on how it is situated. This could also be used with a power bank.

   This lamp is amazing! Very simple setup, worth the money. You don’t have to change the filter gels or anything, color changing is operated with remote on cord. Cord doesn’t come with USB wall plug but it’s the same as most phone chargers and I’ve got plenty of those wall plugs laying around. Glass dome lamp is high quality. Can change the size of the circle projected by moving closer or farther away from the wall, doesn’t change quality of light when further away. Has a flexible tripod arms and ball joints on tripod, I was even able to grip it around my ring light-tripod combo to give it an extra height boost. Flexible arms allow for many placement/mounting options. Super bright even in daylight and gorgeous at night in the dark. Many color options including a slow changing gradient and a strobe effect. Stoked to start making content with this and worth the money.
