   There isn't that much to say. I filled the sphere with water, placed it upright in the fridge (and yeah, you might want to be care about how you do that), waited a little while and there was a perfect large ball of ice. Worked great with bourbon. The silicone was very easy to peal apart after the ice was formed. Nothing to it.

   This ice mold works pretty well. Its floppy the way silicone kitchenware is so I have to set it on a plate. I boil the water before filling it so the ice comes out nice and clear. My only complaint is that the spheres are smaller than I expected.

   We've made a bucket of these ice balls already! LOLIt's very easy to use. Just be sure to wash it esp with first time use. Then you close it, make sure it's sealed tight so no water can leak out. On top of the Ice Box, there's a hole where you can pour water through and just throw in the freezer to freeze. You can make a bucket full for use anytime. We use these for water pitchers. The ball cubes takes a longer time for it to melt esp in this Southern Texas Summer Heat! Say goodbye to luke warm drinks! :)

   This works great. Old Fashioneds will never be the same. You need to calibrate the time to freezing the spheres. At least in my experience you don't want to let the water in the lower reservoir freeze, lest you crack the plastic. In my 0 degree F freezer, this time is about 21 hours. I'd be hesitant to leave in in the freezer 36 hours.The ice spheres are beautiful and really do change the character of a drink.

   First off, it really works. No boiled/bottled water, used it from the faucet. Secondly, it took 3 times to determine the amount of time it takes to freeze the water. Finally, it takes a little bit of work to remove the trays from the box. It's not as simple as the video shows. Lift one side up, then go to the other side and lift. Repeat until trays are lifted. Other than the removal process, this is GENIUS!!!

   We did a whiskey tasting last week and these ice spheres were a hit. Spheres are not hollow like some other products so they lasted for a long time in our glasses. The steps were pretty easy to follow; although we accidentally forgot that the styrofoam case needs to be refrigerated as well. The end product was clear and perfectly round.This is a great gift to give whiskey connoisseurs.

   These make the large 2 1/2" round ice "cubes" you would get from a high-end bar that knows how to make a traditional Old Fashioned. These are perfect for those types of drinks. I've had no difficulty removing the ice from the mold and they're flexible enough to simply peel it back away from the ice. Because of their size it will obviously take longer to make this ice, but well worth it ! I highly recommend this one and I did research others online. I'm glad I chose this one instead

   I have bought plastic ice molds this same size. I would say I like this silicone one better. It is easy to fill and easier to get the ice cube out. The plastic is harder because the bottom sticks in the mold. I have to leave it out for a few minutes before it will release the ice cube. The silicone you can put a medal spoon around the rim of the bottom mold and the ice cube comes right out. I like this big size ice cube because it lasts so much longer in your drinks. The only problem I found is in your freezer you have to make sure they stand up straight so no water spills out and it is hard to see when it is full. I would recommend buying these if you enjoy cold drinks because they last a long time in your drinks.

   I'm upset that I didn't buy these sooner. Every single mold that I purchased had cracks, air, and would melt fast. The Ice Box is the real deal. It does cost a lot, and I'm sure that's why most people go to the junk that claims to make clear ice, which it doesn't. With the cheaper molds, I tried distilled water, boiled tap water, tap water, boiled distilled water, bottled spring water, and messed with the temperatures a few different ways and they always resulted in cloudy ice balls. You can use tap water with the Ice Box and it still comes out crystal clear.
