Really like this sharpener. It's a bit plasticky but hell, for the price it's great. It's never going to give you a fine edge on a knife but I have found it useful for reconditioning old, very blunt ones. The scissor sharpener attachment is very good and has restored several pairs of scissors that I'd stopped using. As I've said, if you're looking to sharpen expensive Japanese steel then I'd look elsewhere (wet stone IMHO) but as a utility sharpener this is great value.
