   This garden kneeler has been very helpful when I'm working in the garden. I used to sit on an empty plastic 5 gallon paint container when working in the yard or cleaning my car rims. Because I have bad knees, I'm unable to squat like I used to. With this garden kneeler, I'm able to work in the garden pain free. The handles on the side take additional pressure off my knees when I'm getting up.

   I purchased this Garden Kneeler to enable me to weed my mulch/stone beds around the house, it sure beats kneeling on the ground! Also it becomes a seat for jobs not at ground level. It has the 2 handles at the ends of the bench which helps you to return to a standing position. I'm sorry I don't have the ability to add a picture of this great little helper, but believe me, it's a dandy thing to have!

   This is the 2nd one of these we have purchased. My sister in law loves to garden and she's 77 years old, getting up and down can is difficult and this really helps. She uses hers inside when she is washing floors. We have the same problem and we are in our late 60's and we find this is stable and easy to use. In fact, my orthopedic doc told me that gardening was probably the hardest activity I could be doing at my age (and that was in my 60's !). It is very sturdy, easy to open and close, easy to transport (not particularly heavy), and takes the strain off the back, hands, and knees when having to kneel to plant something or do other yard work that requires being at ground level. For me, it facilitates my being able to get back up off the ground more easily. I normally use it as a kneeler, but it doubles as a seat which also comes in handy.

   I didn't know I would use this so much, and both directions. I got it with the tool holders and I might not do that again. They don't store as well as the stool itself. I fold them up and my tools fall out on the shelf. I was also glad to get a new set of gloves and had never tried the claw type with is the right hand glove. It isn't my favorite style. But these glitches don't change my rating. It's a fantastic stool and I have my husband use it when he's working on all sorts of projects.

   I bought this for my 81 yr old father who was having trouble getting up from kneeling positions in his garden. He absolutely loves it. It makes it much easier for him to get up and down. He does not like the seat position as he says it feels too unsteady. I personally tried unfolding and folding, the seated and the kneeling positions. To me everything worked easily and was sturdy although I agree with Dad that the seated position doesn't feel as sturdy as kneeling position. All in all, I would definitely purchase again and recommend.
