   Have always had hard sided carriers suitable for plane traveling in the cargo hold. This is the first soft carrier I've invested in and I got it for taking my tiny new 8 week old kitten for her vet and shot appointments. Works wonderfully! I kept it in her contained little room with her at first so she could get used to it and hopefully be a little less freaked out in the car. I think that probably did help and she was in and out of it a lot.

   I also love the hard bottom piece they give you to slip into the bottom pocket under the fleece layer, it definitely is sturdy enough to not buckle under pet weight and isn't some flimsy cardboard like some carriers. The fleece layer is super nice too, I love the padding inside of it so my cat won't have to sleep on hard plastic the whole flight, and the fleece layer is actually a zippered cover, which is great because that means I can wash it later on. I really like the strap inside too with the mini buckle, I don't have a leash for my cat but I love this so if I want to pop open the top to give him a little treat or a head scratch, he can't come flying out of the carrier, he'll be secured down. The strap is also long enough that he could still walk around and get comfy if he wanted to.

   The carrying straps are nice too. I saw a review on the first carrier I ordered mentioned it had little structure and was more like a bag which I knew would drive Vlad nuts, but this one is like a mini suitcase almost. The handles are long enough to carry him low to the ground and avoid problems, and also long enough to loop around my suitcase handle if I want to carry him on top. I also like the adjustable long strap, which I wasn't expecting. I probably won't use the long strap by itself, but I'll probably carry the carrier cross body with the long strap and hang the short straps on my arms for extra support and to help distribute the weight.

   Very sturdy yet lightweight. Delta Airlines approved carrier for domestic and international travel. International dog carriers must have 4 mesh sides while domestic requires 3, which is no problem as this carrier has 4! One side has a zippered pocket for extra items (leash, treats, collapsible water bowl etc.) and all of they zippers worked smoothly. The carrier has a firm bottom plus a removable fleece liner that velcros to the bottom and could be removed if your pet had an accident.

   I truly did not have high hopes . this carrier is perfect. it comes with handles and a strap depending on how you want to carry your pet. The material is quality and so is the construction. The mesh fabric is quality and provides so much air and views for the pet. The size is perfect for a fully grown cat, not sure about a large and in charge type cat but, it should get the job done. Truly such a nice carrier and an amazing price too. Can't beat it. It also comes with a soft pad for the inside so your pet can lay comfortably. 10/10 for sure.

   I moved from Washington to California with my dog and my cat. It took about three days and we stopped at 1.5 hotels (don't ask).. this cat carrier saved my LIFE. My cat has never been outside of home (besides the vet one time) and I would not have been able to take him with me if I hadn't have bought this carrier for him. He meowed for awhile at the beginning of the roadtrip and every time we stopped somewhere and had to put him back in it, but besides that he mostly slept.    I purchased this carrier due to the fact my yard is attracting barn cats. I just can't seem to let them starve, so I find myself taking them to vets and trying to find homes for them. There has been a 1 1/2 year old and a kitten who was about 5 months. Both traveled well in the carrier and even when they got a little frantic, with the scratching and pushing with their head the carrier is still intact and they eventually calmed and layed on the soft bottom. They can see pretty much on all sides and top. I think this helps! I have only had dogs so to compare a hard cover one to this one, I can not! But what I have seen and used it was real easy to take them out of the house and on a ride to vets! The cats were small, but I do think a bigger cat would do fine!

   I was traveling in my car for about 2 weeks and this carrier was perfect for my 1 1/2 year old male cat! He loves to tear at things and gets anxious in the car when I've used plastic crates. This was (and still is) perfect for him! Its very breathable and comfortable, coming with a nice foam pad covered in a dog bed kinda fabric. The fabric is high quality for a pet, and it has sturdy support so it doesn't fall in on him. I did end up hot gluing the bed to the bottom of the crate so it wouldn't slide around. My cat slept very well in this. 10/10 ☺️ (Ps. I recommend having a harness on your pet as well as a towel loosely on top to help them stay calmer)
