   I bought this primarily to stop the draft coming up from our basement door. I chose this over the kind you lay next to the door because we go in & out a lot and I didn't want my dogs to try and mess with it. It comes with two tubes you cut to size and place in a sleeve. It only took me a few minutes to put it together, and the tubes are tall enough to cover the gap. I can't say if it will reduce noise since that's not why I bought it, but it does greatly reduce the draft.

   these work great not really a lot I don't like except that I measured bedroom doors but not laundry room I figured they were all same size so I cut them all same size but as it happens laundry room door is about 2 1/2 in wider, I just need to find something to fill up the space maybe old socks or something. There is not much for adhesion. And did not buy for noise just drafts and are very good at this.

   I have a considerable amount of space under my front door and being in PNW sometimes uninvited guests (spiders) will find their way in (and I'm a horrible spider).    I purchased this as a replacement for a more well known brand of door stopper that I have been using for over 4 years. I was hesitant to choose this one at first as I was concerned that the larger diameter cylinders would cause problems with my closing. I can easily say that this is a far superior hand than the one I replaced. Firstly, the fabric is thick and durable. Second, I'm a fan of the adhesive, it really helps keep things nice and flat!

   This filled the big gap. It would be good air insulation, minimal sound insulation but as good as any of this type. Be careful the velcro closure is not exposed so it touches carpet or it will make noise. Easy to avoid but to warn to install properly. Good fit and the large noodles inside are better than smaller ones IMO. Be careful to cut correctly. If a bit too long tou can cut a bit more. Cut too much and you have no way to adjust.

I can hear shuffling, folks upstairs, etc. I didn't know it was being advertised as a noise reducer, but good luck and keep searching if that is your goal. Installs easy, washable and it does keep them from crawling from underneath if the fit is right. When I wash it, zero critters and dust. It is washed on the monthly basis, but if you have tons of animals or where shoes in the house, then bi-weekly is suggested.

   I live in a cheap garage apartment with odd size doors that don't necessarily fit. I bought two one for my apartment, front door and one for my bathroom door. Keep the hot air in and the cold air out. Takes about 5 minutes to scissor to the right size and slip them under the door. Easy peasy, fresh and squeezy
